Opera Scenes Features 'Nameless Show'

Students in Âé¶ą´«Ă˝Ół»­â€™s Music Drama Workshop Class perform 18 different songs from eight operas in Opera Scene’s “Nameless Show” Sunday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. in Âé¶ą´«Ă˝Ół»­â€™s Deane Chapel. The performance is free and open to the public.

“Nameless Show” is an original work, written by the music drama class. Adjunct professor Celeste Tavera, a 1987 Metropolitan Opera National Council winner, directs and stars in the performance, which features nine current Âé¶ą´«Ă˝Ół»­ students. Adjunct professor Paula Hatley plays the piano during the operas that include scenes from “Cinderella,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Hänsel und Gretel,” “RomĂ©o et Juliette,” “Dido and Aeneas” and “Lucia di Lammermoor.”
